The club will be launching a new and exciting small society lottery, which it is hoped, will be successful in raising funds to allow for the total refurbishment of the clubhouse.

The first draw will be at the clubhouse on Thursday 23rd September at 8pm with an initial prize of £500.

Tickets will be on sale at the clubhouse from the first home game on Saturday 11th September v Abertillery Blaenau Gwent RFC.

In addition, a number of retail outlets in the town and district have kindly offered to sell tickets. Details of these outlets will appear here soon and they shall display the below poster and the weekly draw numbers shall be posted here also.

We have been inspired by Hafodrynys RFC, a small local club, have had great success raising over £70k in the three years it has run it and built a new changing facility at their club. If the weeks prize is not won it rolls over before reaching a maximum allowed of £25,000. Hafodrynys have had two £25,000 winners and two £10,000 winners.

Half the income from the tickets goes to the club and the other in the prize fund. All this has been cleared with the Local Authority with who the club is registered under the Gambling Act 2005 and with the Gambling Commission.
