Club Donations and Gift Aid

The Club is now a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). One of the benefits from this is we receive an additional 25% in gift aid from the Government in all personal donations made to the club. A local example of a club who have subscribed to this is Cwmbran Celtic FC who last year were paid over £3000 in gift aid! see the attached link for Cwmbran Celtic to see how this works.

Gift Aid can be added (reclaimed from the Inland Revenue) to donations from individuals who are UK taxpayers at the attractive rate of 28% to all registered CASCS. This is all taken care of by our system and requires minimal or no paperwork for the club. Gift Aid can also be reclaimed on donations going back several years.

To make a donation click on the Club Charity CASC link and follow the onpage instructions. If you have any problems or are unsure about any part of the procedure please contact committeeman Peter Evans for advice on 01873 855427.
